learner-centered approach,

Ee Zann, who is in Primary 4 this year, enjoys the stories that her teacher shares with the class during lessons at Sprout. Intrigued with these stories, she would always borrow these storybooks home after class to read. Her mummy, Mrs Ee, hopes to sustain her daughter's reading habit, and her love for the Chinese Language.
Why did you choose Sprout? (Mrs Ee) I chose Sprout as it is different from mainstream tuition centres. Sprout's learner-centered approach places strong emphasis on students' learning process, thus ensuring the quality of my child's learning. How has your child's learning experience been at Sprout? (Mrs Ee) My child has learnt a lot at Sprout. For instance, the stories that her teacher shares during lessons actually motivate her to read more widely, and in turn, help cultivate her interest in reading Chinese books. |
What do you wish for your child's future?
(Mrs Ee) I hope that her confidence in the language will continue to grow, and that she will develop the habit and ability to read Chinese books independently.
How long have you been at Sprout? (Ee Zann) Almost 2 years. I first attended class at Sprout in 2015, when it was near Christmas. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when we mention Sprout? (Ee Zann) The Chinese storybooks that my teacher usually introduces to us during lesson. What do you like about Sprout? (Ee Zann) I like the storybooks that my teacher introduces. The stories are very special and interesting. |
